Ted Snyder Memorial Fundraiser will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at the New Hofbrau, 416 Highland Ave., Canonsburg. There will be a Chinese auction and 50-50 drawing. All proceeds will be donated to the family. Snyder died Nov. 10, 2013, one month after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, leaving behind his wife, Shelly, and three teenage daughters. McDonald Youth Ministries will hold its annual spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at McDonald Presbyterian Church, Trinity building. There will be raffle prizes and a special raffle of two Pittsburgh Penguins tickets for March 11 game along with a $75 gas card. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12. Rabies Plus Clinic, sponsored by Pet Search, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Pleasant Fire Department, Route 50, Hickory. Rabies vaccinations will be available for cats and dogs for $6. Other vaccinations also will be available for dogs, including DHLPP, Bordatella and Lyme, and for cats, including FCRCP and leukemia. Additional services will include microchipping for $25 and spay/neuter assistance program vouchers.

Infant and Child CPR class will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 27 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Fee is $40, payable to VHSTC. Registrationis required by calling the Valley Health and Safety Training Center at 724-684-9536.

Washington Festival Chorale will present “A Night on Broadway” at 7 p.m. March 8, with dinner at 6 p.m., and 2 p.m. March 9, with dinner at 1 p.m., at Washington Elks, 138 E. Maiden St., Washington. Managing Your Diabetes will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, through Thursday, March 6, at Mon-Vale HealthPLEX. Completion of the three-day “Diabetes Self-Management Training” is a prerequisite. Registration is required at least one week in advance; call 724-258-1483.

Magic Tree House Book Club for second- through fourth-graders will meet at 10 a.m. March 1 at Peters Township Public Library. “The Knight at Dawn” will be discussed.
