City Mission announces Sweet Sunday dessert winners

Winners of the City Mission’s recent Sweet Sunday dessert competition, in order of finish, were:

Youth – Bentleyville Leo Club, Peanut Butter Wonders; ARK Youth Group, First Baptist Church, Monongahela, Chocolate Bacon Roses; and First Love Christian Academy, Great Gobs. Judges’ choice was awarded to Daughters of the King for Royal Peanut Butter Bon-Bons.

Amateur – City Mission, Chocolate Cups with Orange Creme; Life Point Church, Chocolate-Covered Oreos; and Peters Township Newcomers & Neighbors, Chocolate-Covered Oreos. Judges’ choice was First Church of the Nazarene, Washington, Nazaroos.

Professional – Angelo’s Restaurant, Gelato; Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe, Around the World in 8 Cupcakes; and Bethel Bakery, Assorted Mini Gourmet Brownies. Judges’ choice went to Eat ‘n Park, Bananas Foster Creme Pie.

Bentleyville Leo Club also won the Best Decorated Table Award.
