Teen Outreach holding essay contest

Washington Health System Teen Outreach is holding a Women’s History Month Essay/Photo Contest for seventh- through 12th-graders.
A written essay or photo essay may be submitted. Written essays must be 250 to 500 words; photo essays must include at least six original photos. Written and photo essays will be judged separately.
First and second place will be awarded in each category. First-place winners will receive a $100 Amazon gift card; second-place winners will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
Entries must be submitted via email to podmjA@healthyteens.com by midnight March 24. Written essays must be Word documents; photo essays be jpeg files.
Entries will be read and winners revealed at the Teen Outreach Ambassador for Respect Youth Conference: Respect for Older Adults, which will be held March 27 at the Rossin Center at Washington & College.
The conference, “Exploring Culture: Past (1964), Present (2014) and Future (2064),” will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and the essays will be read at 12:30 p.m.
