Amity war memorial renovated

The war memorial in Amity recently was renovated and now has space for more names. Amity is seeking names of all veterans from the community who have served in the military since World War II. Veterans must have lived in the Amity community at the time of registering. A copy of discharge paper DD2-14 is recommended for verification purposes. Names of veterans, including branch and dates of service, who meet the criteria listed above should be forwarded to David Day at 724-225-0773 or Don Tennant at 724-228-1031.
