Wash Arts to hold instructor show, open house

Washington Community Arts and Cultural Center, 70 South St., will hold an Instructor Show and Open House from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The open house will feature artwork, demonstrations and performances, and will serve as an introduction to the classes that are offered for all ages at Wash Arts. Classes get under way Monday.

Children and teen classes include pottery, printmaking, mosaics, fashion illustration, beginning drawing and illustration, story and sing-along, digital illustration, Make Your Own Music, Ukulele Madness, and private violin, guitar and drum lessons.

Adult classes include pottery, beginning, intermediate and advanced metalsmithing, open drawing, digital illustration, mosaics, Scherenschnitte, advanced metalsmithing/jewelry, Make Your Camera See What You See, sketchbook journaling, tango and concrete bird feeders.
