Doris Davis of Eighty Four recently won the Four-Legged Tales contest sponsored by Pet Care. Davis is a pet sitter whose story about a dog named Archie received the most votes nationwide out of 30 entries. Davis received $100 for herself and another $100 for a pet shelter. She donated that $100 to the Washington County Humane Society.
