Gene and Boots Candies Valentine’s Day candy sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday in the lobby at Monongahela Valley Hospital. The sale is sponsored by the Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources Inc., and all proceeds will be used to enhance services for patients and visitors at the hospital. Washington Art Association, celebrating its 40th year at Citizens Library in Washington, will hold new classes beginning Feb. 11. April Ryan will instruct classes for fifth- through eighth-graders from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and classes for teens and adults from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays. Diane Adams will instruct classes for teens and adults from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays. John Luginski will instruct classes for adults from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays.
