Margaret Bedillion was named to the dean’s list at West Virginia University School of Medicine, where she is majoring in exercise physiology and studying to be a registered nurse. She is a member of the women’s soccer team and was named to the commissioner’s high honor roll and NCAA Division I high honor roll. She is a 2012 graduate of Trinity High School, and her parents are Conniejo Passo of Washington and the late Daniel Passo.
Lauren Beels of Washington has been accepted into Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a 2012 graduate of Trinity High School.
Charles Bendick was named to the dean’s list at Slippery Rock University, where he is majoring in environmental safety science. He is employed by Blue Devil Distributing. Bendick is a 2011 graduate of Burgettstown High School, and his parents are Tim and Mary Kay Bendick of Burgettstown.
Patrick Diamond was named to the dean’s list at St. Vincent College, where he is studying to become a physician’s assistant. Diamond plans to attend Duquesne University in the fall to complete the physician’s assistant program. Diamond is a 2011 graduate of Fort Cherry High School, and his parents are Thomas and Claudia Diamond of Hickory.
Mallory Gasbarrini graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a degree in medical psychology. She was named to the dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average her last semester. She plans to pursue a master’s degree in professional therapy at Chatham University. She is a 2010 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School. Her parents are Joseph and Jody Gasbarrini of Canonsburg.
Justin Alan Johnson, son of Charles and Bonnie Johnson of Washington, graduated with a degree in business administration from Waynesburg University. He also minored in finance and economics and was named to the dean’s list. Johnson is a 2010 homeschool graduate of the Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Accreditation Agency. Johnson is a student pilot.
Jesse Kisner graduated from Carlow University, where she earned a degree in art education with a minor in art therapy. She worked as a university photographer and was named to the dean’s list several semesters. She completed her student teaching at Sunshine School for Special Needs Students and Baldwin High School. For two summers, Kisner worked with the WISP Summer Camp Program at the Watson Institute, which provides services for children with autism spectrum disorder. She attended Waynesburg Central High School and graduated in 2010 from the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. Her parents are the Rev. Jeffrey and Janna Kisner of Waynesburg.
John Mondin of Burgettstown graduated cum laude from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a doctor of pharmacy. He was a member of Phi Lambda Sigma, grand vice president for Student Affairs of Phi Delta Chi and a rechartering brother of the Epsilon Chapter. Mondin also served on the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy’s Student Council, Curriculum, PharmD Executive Program and ACPE Standards for Students committees. He was a four-year senator of the Student Government Association and a member of Student Societies of Health-System Pharmacists, American Pharmacists Association and Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association. Mondin is a 2008 graduate of Burgettstown High School, and his parents are John Mondin and Janet McClain.
Daniel C. Singer graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a degree in biology with an emphasis in neuroscience. He is a pharmacy technician and is working on a rural health project with the Yale School of Medicine. His parents are David and Debbie Singer of Avella. Singer is a 2009 graduate of Avella High School.
