The Pennsylvania Resources Council and the Washington County Planning Commission will hold a household chemical collection from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at Adamson Stadium at California University of Pennsylvania.
Products that will be collected include cleaners, paints, stains and varnishes, batteries, motor oil, pesticides and other potentially hazardous chemicals.
Cost is $2 per gallon to safely dispose of materials. Cash only will be accepted. A certified contractor will be on site to process the hazardous waste for proper disposal.
