Auction raises money for Blount youth home

As part of The Meadows Father’s Day Weekend Festival, more than $7,000 was raised to support the Mel Blount Youth Home.

The money was raised from a sports memorabilia charity auction.

The Father’s Day Weekend featured a “Rock ‘n Blues BBQ” and was highlighted by a concert by former Pittsburgh Steelers Terry Bradshaw, along with some of his former teammates, including Blount, Franco Harris and Rocky Bleier.
