Polly Clarchick was named to the dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average at Marietta College, where she is majoring in petroleum engineering/leadership studies. She is a representative for Student Senate, treasurer of the Society of Women Engineers and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Marietta College Physics Club and American Association of Drilling Engineers. She also is a volunteer at Ely Chapman Science Institution. Clarchick is interning at Northeastern Energy Consulting Inc. She is a 2013 graduate of Avella Junior/Senior High School, and her parents are Lynn and John Clarchick Jr. of Avella.
