Sneakers sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in the community room at Washington Hospital. The sale is sponsored by Washington Hospital Auxiliary, and all proceeds will benefit Washington Health System. There will be running sneakers, cross-trainers and basketball sneakers and walkers for men and women. Brands include Nike, Reebok, New Balance and Sketchers. Payroll deduction will be available for Washington Health System employees.

Calvary Baptist Church, 1701 Ridgewood Drive, Washington, will hold its 11th annual free family fun fest for all ages from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be free food, games, crafts, prizes and a concert.

Marianna Methodist Church will hold a soup and salad bar from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 2. Cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for ages 12 and younger. Meal includes soup, a variety of salads, dessert and a beverage. For more information, call 724-377-0715.
