Thompson – Armstrong
Kristen Armstrong and Ryan Thompson were united in marriage June 21, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, with Father James Scullion officiating the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Robert and Terri Armstrong of Glenmoore. Her grandparents are the late Wallace and Anne Armstrong and the late Michael and Eleanor Minetti.
Parents of the bridegroom are Norman and Denise Thompson of Carmichaels. His grandparents are Robert and Charlene Vance, Mary Thompson and the late Norman Thompson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Stephanie Fleetman of Philadelphia, and matron of honor was Lori Armstrong of Lancaster, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaid was Sarah Hobman of West Chester.
Aaron Thompson of Carmichaels, brother of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Michael Armstrong, brother of the bride, and Jack Armstrong, nephew of the bride, both of Lancaster.
Ring bearer was Nicholas Armstrong, nephew of the bride.
A reception was held at DaddyO in Brant Beach, N.J.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Downingtown West High School and a 2010 graduate of Kutztown University, where she majored in early childhood-elementary education. She is a preschool teacher at the Malvern School of Lionville in Exton.
Mr. Thompson is a 2004 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School, a 2008 graduate of Hillsdale College, where he majored in political science and history, and a 2011 graduate of Villanova University School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is employed as legal counsel with De Lage Landen in Wayne.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa, St. John’s, Antigua.
