Prevention Fair in the Park, sponsored by the Washington Drug & Alcohol Commission Inc., will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Friday at Vernon C. Neal Sportsplex, Washington. There will be music, food, games, face-painting, caricatures and prizes. The event is free. For more information, call 724-223-1181.

Buffalo Grange 1523 will meet at 7 p.m. Friday. Entertainment will be provided by the Music Makers.

Martha Washington Garden Club will present its yearly flower show, Story Thyme, at Washington Crown Center from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. The event will be held inside the mall in front of Macy’s. Floral designs and horticulture exhibits will be judged by 12 accredited judges from around the state. Gently used items and plants will be for sale.

Buffalo Grange 1523 will hold a birthday and anniversary dinner at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Bring a covered dish or dessert.
