Shale Media Group will host a Benefit for Fallen Heroes from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn Express in Bentleyville.

SMG teamed up with Mikes’ Hiking Heroes, a project dedicated to honoring the legacy of service personnel who have been killed in action during the war on terror.

There will be an auction that will include Steelers tickets, hotel stays and gift certificates.
