John Allison was named to the dean’s list for the fifth consecutive semester at Waynesburg University, where he is majoring in biology/pre-medicine, with a minor in chemistry. He is a member of Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society and the cross country and track teams. Allison is a 2011 graduate of Fort Cherry High School, and his parents are Tim and Colleen Allison of Hickory.
Morgan Blumer, daughter of Mary-Rossi Blumer and Nicklous J. Blumer II of Washington, was named to the dean’s list for the seventh consecutive semester at Waynesburg University, where she is majoring in criminal justice administration. She is president of the university’s Criminal Justice Society. Blumer is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School and works in the Washington County Booking Center. Blumer is scheduled to graduate in May, and recently accepted a job offer from the Fairfax Police Department in Fairfax, Va.
Jason D’Alessandro was named to the dean’s list at Washington & Jefferson College. D’Alessandro is a 2013 graduate of Washington High School, and his parents are Jason and Becky D’Alessandro of Washington.
Justin Alan Johnson, son of Charles and Bonnie Johnson of Washington, was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is majoring in business, with minors in finance and economics. He also is a student pilot. Johnson is a 2009 graduate of Pennsylvania Homeschoolers and is employed by Advanced Auto Parts.
Lauren N. Mersky, daughter of William and Terri L. Mersky of Taylorstown, was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where she is majoring in nursing. She is a 2013 graduate of McGuffey High School and is employed by Red Lobster in Washington.
John Michael Mihalek was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is majoring in psychology. He is a member of the cross country team and lacrosse club. He is a 2013 graduate of California Area High School and is employed by Giant Eagle. His parents are Janet Mihalek of Coal Center and Mark Mihalek.
Melissa Poach, daughter of Mark and Marty Poach of Washington, was named to the dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average at Waynesburg University, where she is majoring in early childhood education. She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education and a member of the indoor and outdoor track teams. She was named Athlete of the Week twice in February. Poach is a 2010 gradute of Trinity High School and is employed at American Eagle at Tanger Outlets.
Brian Resnik was named to the dean’s list at Waynesburg University, where he is majoring in environmental science. Resnik was voted captain of the baseball team, and last year was named Freshman of the Year. Resnik is a 2012 graduate of Burgettstown High School and is employed part time by Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service. His parents are Dan and Debbie Resnik.
Timothy Waddell was named to the dean’s list at Point Park University, where he is majoring in sports art entertainment management. He is a 2012 graduate of Avella Junior/Senior High School, and his parents are Curt and Patty Waddell of Avella.
Kailey Watters, daughter of Karen Homrock of Canonsburg, was named to the dean’s list with distinction at Grove City College, where she is majoring in music. She is a 2010 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
Kyle Witzberger, son of James and Noreen Witzberger of McDonald, was named to the dean’s list at Grove City College. He is a 2013 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.
