Bowl-A-Thon benefits Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania, Washington and Greene County Chapter, will host its annual Bowl-A-Thon April 29 at Meadows Lanes at The Meadows Racetrack and Casino.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and bowling starts at 6. Proceeds will support JA’s financial literacy courses and the new “Careers in Energy” program in the Burgettstown, Canon-McMillan, Central Greene, Charleroi, Chartiers-Houston, Jefferson Morgan, McGuffey, Peters Township, Ringgold, Trinity and Washington school districts.

Last year’s event raised more than $10,000 for educational programs in Washington and Greene counties.

Corporate teams and event sponsorships are available from $250 to $1,000.
