California Area Historical Society will hold a wine tasting from 3 to 7 p.m. April 12 at the Gallagher House, 429 Wood St., California.

Joe Skocik from Plum Run Winery will have a dozen wines available for tasting. Skocik will talk about the winery and the process used in developing local wines. There will be hors d’oeuvres and door prizes, and wine will be available for purchase.

Admission is $10. Participants must be 21 years or older.
