Jim and Kim McAnany of Claysville announce the engagement of their daughter, Loren, to Rick Pugh, son of Ken and Nancy Pugh of Weirton, W.Va.

Loren’s grandparents are Frank and Fran Garrison of West Alexander and Margaret McAnany of Claysville and the late Charles McAnany. Her fiance’s grandparents are Charles and Pat Pugh of Chester, W.Va., Wilma Pugh of Sewickley and Evelyn Stasko of Weirton and the late Albert Stasko.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of McGuffey High School and a 2012 graduate of Bethany College, Bethany, W.Va., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and media arts. She is a recruitment consultant for Swift Worldwide Resources.

The future groom is a 2006 graduate of Brooke High School, Wellsburg, W.Va., and a 2010 graduate of West Virginia University, Morgantown, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing/management. He is a hiring manager for Compliance Staffing Agency.

A 2015 destination wedding is planned.
