Washington County Council of Democratic Women will hold its Christmas dinner at The Union Grill in Washington at 6 p.m. Dec. 1. Today is the deadline to make reservations. Call 724-514-7683.

Buffalo Grange 1523 will meet at 7 p.m. Friday. The grange will hold a birthday and anniversary dinner at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Martha Washington Quilt Guild will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Church of the Covenant, third floor, 267 E. Beau St., Washington. Katie Robinson will present a Christmas ornament program.

Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 in Room 104, Courthouse Square. Attorney Cary D. Jones will present a program on photography and the law.

Christmas Craft and Bake Sale will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 6 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 7 at St. John the Byzantine Catholic Church, 201 E. Main St., Uniontown. Items have been made by St. John’s Ethnic Craft Club and include wooden items, such as indoor and outdoor decorations. There also will be ornaments with icons and pysanky designs and imported items, such as embroidered ornaments, icons and other folk art from Slovakia and Ukraine. Creamed chicken-and-biscuit dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Dec. 6,at Claysville United Methodist Church, 1279 Route 40. Dinner will include chicken and biscuit, mashed potatoes, green beans and dessert. A love offering will be accepted.
