Bucey – Lindberg
Savannah Lindberg and Matthew Bucey, both of North Strabane Township, were united in marriage June 14, 2014, in Westminster Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John W. Neely Jr., uncle of the groom, and the Rev. Dr. Tammy Yeager officiating the 4 p.m. cermony.
The bride’s parents are David and Anita Lindberg of Canonsburg and Joe and Estella Barton of McKeesport. Her grandparents are Gus and Kathy Bernola of Washington, Ann Loizes of McKeesport and the late James Loizes and the late David and Hannah Lindberg.
Parents of the bridegroom are Jeff and Patty Bucey of McMurray. His grandparents are the late John and Mary Alice Neely and the late Mantzel and Elvina Bucey.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, David Lindberg.
Matron of honor was Deja Barton of Irwin, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashley Canning of North Strabane Township, cousin of the bride; Christine Dujmic of Elizabeth; and Megan Vance of North Strabane Township, sister of the groom.
Best man was Jeff Knell of McMurray. Ushers were Jay Barton of Irwin, brother-in-law of the bride; Tyler Purkey of Grovetown, Ga.; and Andy Vance of North Strabane Township, brother-in-law of the groom.
Ring bearers were Jasper Vance and Noah Barton, nephews of the bride and groom. Readers were David Neely and Jim Loizes. Vocalists were David and Anita Lindberg.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Peters Township High School and a 2011 graduate of Slippery Rock University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is a fifth-grade elementary school teacher with Chartiers Valley School District.
Mr. Bucey is a 2007 graduate of Peters Township High School and a 2010 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He is a financial reporting manager with Ansys Inc.
A reception was held at Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe, Canonsburg.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
