Lindsey Ann Farrington and Eric James Day, both of Pittsburgh, were united in marriage June 21, 2014, in First United Methodist Church, New Castle, with the Rev. Richard J. Helsel officiating the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride’s parents are Robert and Jan Farrington of New Castle. Her grandparents are the late Wilbert and Sylvia Spangler and the late Richard and Sally Farrington.

Parents of the bridegroom are James and Amy Day of Washington. His grandparents are Harry and Frances Reese and Don and Mary Iams, all of Washington.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Jayme Day of Pittsburgh, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Bucci of New Castle, cousin of the bride; Kristin McDowell of New Castle, cousin of the bride; Jennifer Flannery of New Castle, cousin of the bride; Elizabeth Bell of Pittsburgh; and Krisha DeLeon of Pittsburgh.

Acolyte was Logan Davis, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Jared Walker of Natrona Heights. Ushers were Brandon Leech of Washington, cousin of the groom; Brad Smith of Washington, cousin of the groom; Derek Hoover of Washington, cousin of the groom; Kyle Keast of Pittsburgh; and Brad Condreay of Pittsburgh.

Readers were Deborah Leech, aunt of the groom, and Brenda Matas, aunt of the bride.

Vocalist was Lisa Duckworth.

The bride is a graduate of Neshannock Area High School and Slippery Rock University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in exercise science and a doctorate of physical therapy. She is employed with David Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center in Mt Lebanon.

Mr. Day is a graduate of Trinity Area High School; Slippery Rock University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in exercise science; and Palmer Chiropractic College, Florida campus, where he earned a doctor of chiropractic degree. He is the owner of Day Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Sewickley.

A reception was held at The New Englander Banquet Facility, New Castle.

The couple honeymooned at Sandals Emerald Bay on Great Exuma Island, Bahamas.
