Dixon – DeGennaro
Gina DeGennaro and Matthew Dixon, both of Canonsburg, were united in marriage September 6, 2014, at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Meadow Lands, with Judge John DiSalle officiating the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Rick and Kim DeGennaro of Canonsburg. Her grandparents are Richard and Caroline DeGennaro and Joan Berty and the late Donald Berty.
Parents of the bridegroom are John and Barbara Dixon of Canonsburg. His grandparents are the late Arthur and Marjorie Boyce and the late William and Madeline Dixon.
The bride was given in marriage by both parents.
Maid of honor was Caitlin Betts of Coatesville. Bridesmaids were Erin Dixon, Caitlin Dekker, Ashley Gibbons and Jessica Obranovich.
Flower girls were Joan Berty and Caroline DeGennaro, grandmothers of the bride.
Best man was Brandon Charriere of Canonsburg. Ushers were John Dixon, Nathaniel Scarmazzi, Joe Malone and Cory DeGennaro.
Ring bearers were Ewan and Cash Dixon, nephews of the groom.
The bride is a graudate of Canon-McMillan High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
Mr. Dixon is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and a 2007 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania.
A reception was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.
