The Loving Caregivers Support Group meets the third Wednesday of the month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, 615 E. Beau St., Washington.

California University of Pennsylvania’s veterans affairs office will hold its first Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America VetTogether at 5 p.m. Thursday at Lagerheads, Coal Center. A 9/11 memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the veterans memorial site on Cedar Grove Road, Eldersville. Guest speaker will be Washington County Commissioner Harlan Shober. Emma Gragan will sing. Tom Derby of Colliers Way Church of Christ and the Rev. Jim Sands of United Methodist Church of Eldersville will lead a prayer. A collection will be held for Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department. If it rains, the service will be held in United Methodist Church, Eldersville.
