First United Methodist Church of Waynesburg, Franklin and Richhill streets, will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in Fellowship Hall. University students will receive 50 percent off their entire purchase. There will be books, household items, bikes, tools and more.
Bentleyville United Methodist Church, 712 Main St., will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner from 2 to 6 p.m. Sept. 20. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Dinner also includes drinks and dessert. 724-239-2513.
St. Clair Hospital Breast Care Center is hosting a free mammography and women’s wellness day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 20 at St. Clair Hospital Breast Care Center, St. Clair Hospital Outpatient Center – Village Square, 2000 Oxford Drive, Suite 301, Bethel Park. It is open to women 40 and older who do not have health insurance. Free transportation will be provided for women who have difficulty securing a ride to and from the center. Registration is required. Kechera, a folk ensemble from Slovakia, will perform at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, at Carpatho-Rusyn Cultural Center, 915 Dickson St., Munhall. Admission is $12.
