Immaculate Conception Church is sponsoring Landings, a program inviting Catholics to return to Mass and become active in the parish. Allegheny County Health Department’s influenza vaccination clinic, 3441 Forbes Ave., Pittsburgh, is offering influenza vaccine, while supplies last, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 1 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. No appointment is necessary. It is a covered benefit to people with Medicare Part B coverage who are not in an HMO and may get vaccine from any Medicare-approved provider. The vaccine is $25 for others. A limited supply of flu vaccine without thimerosal will be offered free of charge to uninsured/underinsured children. For more information, call 412-687-2243.

Buffalo Grange 1523 will meet at 7 p.m. Friday. Election of officers will be held.

The 31st NewsRadio 1020 KDKA Spaghetti Breakfast will be held from 5 to 9 a.m. Friday at Heinz Hall Garden Plaza at Sixth and Liberty avenues, Pittsburgh. Penne pasta, sausage, bread and all the fixings will be served. The event benefits The Little Sisters of the Poor.

Bentleyville United Methodist Church, 712 Main St., will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 11 and younder. Dinner includes drinks and dessert. 724-239-2513.

Release Time Bible clubs meet at the following times:

• Trinity East meets Fridays. Grades 4 and 5 meet from 12:05 to 12:35 p.m. and grades 2 and 3 meet from 12:40 to 1:10 p.m.

• Trinity North meets Mondays. Grades 2 and 3 meet from 11:50 to 12:30 p.m. and grades 4 and 5 meet from 12:30 to 1:10 p.m.

• Trinity South meets Tuesdays. Grades 2 and 3 meet from noon to 12:45 p.m. and grades 4 and 5 meet from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.

• Washington Park meets Wednesdays. Grades 4 through 6 meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and grades 2 and 3 meet from 1:30 2:30 p.m.

• Joe Walker meets Tuesdays. Grades 4 and 5 meet from 11:25 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.

• Claysville grades 2 and 3 meets Tuesday and grades 4 and 5 meets Wednesday.

• Beth-Center grades 2 through 5 meets from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesdays.

Members of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Ataxia Support Group will participate in the Galleria Community Day from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Galleria Mall, 1500 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon. Their booth will recognize the International Ataxia Awareness Day (Sept. 25) and provide information on ataxia, a term used to describe both the symptoms of and a group of neurological disorders that cause problems with balance and coordinated movement. Monongahela Valley Hospital will hold its semi-annual multiphasic blood analysis screening from 7 to 10 a.m. Sept. 27 at the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center on the hospital campus. On each blood sample, 37 individual tests will be performed that can reveal anemia, lung disease, diabetes, leukemia, high cholesterol, blood disorders and much more. Cost is $25. Testing is done by appointment only. Registration is being accepted Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at 724-258-1282 until Sept. 24. Participants will be asked to provide the full name and address of the physician to whom their test results will be sent. A 12-hour fasting period is required prior to testing. Persons on medication should consult their physicians. Certified medical professionals from the MVH laboratory will administer the testing. The procedure takes between 15 and 20 minutes. Light refreshments will be served afterward. Parking is free.
