Spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church, 2240 Washington Road, Canonsburg. Menu will include spaghetti with meatballs, salad bar, bread, homemade desserts and beverage. Takeout will be available. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and younger.
First United Methodist Church, 430 W. Main St., Monongahela, will hold a spaghetti and meatball dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Dinner includes salad bar, dessert and beverage. Cost is $9 for adults and $6 for children younger than 10. Takeout will be available.

Mary and Martha Joy Fellowship of Monongahela will hold its monthly meeting of praise and worship Oct. 2. Fellowship and refreshments will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting will start at 7. Haunted Trail XV – Unhappy Endings, Fractured Fairytales of Peterswood Park will be presented by the Peters Township Parks and Recreation Department from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, and Saturday, Oct. 4. Cost is $5 per person.
Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a hayride preschool program for 3- to 5-year-olds Oct. 7 and Oct. 8 at shelter 1 at Mingo Creek County Park. Two sessions will be available each day: 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Apple cider will be served after the ride. Registration is required by calling 724-228-6867. Cost is $1 per child, and an adult must attend.
