Bradford House hosts garden party

The Bradford House, 175 S. Main St., Washington, will host a garden party from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 17.
Those who attend will be able to tour the garden and learn some of the plant species of the 18th century from house gardener Alice Burroughs.
Local artists Leslie Fehling and Kit Paulsen will paint spring scenes and flowers in the garden. Tours of the house, music from local musician Rick Baker and light refreshments are included.
Tickets can be purchased through May 15 for $15 at Citizens Library or by calling the Bradford House at 724-222-3604. Tickets will be $20 the day of the event.
