Peters Township Public Library hosts Animal Fair

Peters Township Public Library will host an Animal Fair from 11 a.m. to noon Sept. 12.

Angel Ridge Animal Rescue and the Washington Area Humane Society will offer animals available for adoption at the fair.

Special events include a reading of the newly discovered Dr. Seuss book, “What Pet Should I Get?” at noon, followed by a visit from the Washington Wild Thing mascot at 12:30 p.m.

Among the other organizations and businesses that will participate are All About Geckos, Bichon Frise Club of Western Pennsylvania,

Camp Bow Wow, DeLuca’s Canine County Club, Doodie Deeds Dog Waste Removal, German Shepherd Dog Club of Western Pennsylvania,

Golden Triangle Obedience, Hello Bully, Hollybush Dog Training, Hurry Home Hounds, Keystone Canine Training Club, Nemacolin Wooflands, Three Rivers Greyhounds and Woody’s Dog Wash & Pet Boutique.

Participants will answer questions and distribute samples and coupons. Pet product donations will be accepted for the Washington Area Humane Society in the lobby throughout the day.
