Mexican War Streets house tour planned

The 46th annual Mexican War Streets House & Garden Tour will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 13 on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
Visitors can take self-guided tours of 11 homes and gardens throughout the historic neighborhood on Pittsburgh’s North Side. Homes represent restorations, and some are a work in progress.
The house tour also will feature a midway of vendors and mobile eateries, such as Franktuary, Oh My Grill, Burgh Bites and Commonplace Coffee.
The tour is sponsored, in part, by Horn Corp. Builders, Eisler Landscapes, Frank Quinn Construction, First National Bank and the Allegheny Commons Initiative. Tickets are $18 per person purchased at www.mexicanwarstreets.org. Tickets will be $20 per person on the day of the tour, and can be purchased at the ticket booth on Monterey Street at West North Avenue.
