Christmas Palooza, featuring several local musicians and groups, will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Washington Crown Center.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Washington Festival Chorale, Fools for Christ from Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church, Ron King, The Ambassadors for Christ, John Klein and Circle of Faith from New Hope Church.

Performances will benefit the Washington Christian Outreach Christmas food basket and Christmas toy basket programs. Baked goods will be sold, and monetary donations will be accepted.

Nonperishable food items and new or like-new toys can be donated from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays at Washington Christian Outreach, 119 Highland Ave., Washington. Donations should be received by Dec. 11.

The food basket contains Christmas dinner in a box and includes a gift certificate to purchase meat. About 350 food baskets will be distributed on Dec. 19. The Christmas toy distribution will be held Dec. 14-16 at Washington Christian Outreach.
