Six of the historic homes in the Hopecrest neighborhood of Morgantown, W.Va., will open their doors from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday for the 2015 Holiday Home Tour.

Homes on the tour have been featured in magazines, including Southern Living and NCWV Life, and on HGTV’s “Homes Across America.”

R.J. Nestor is the executive and artistic director of Golden Horseshoe Inc., which is hosting the Holiday Home Tour as a fundraiser.

“This is a rare opportunity to see inside these spectacular, historic homes,” Nestor said. “The homes are upscale and updated, and their upkeep is impeccable.”

The six homes are along Maple Avenue and Lebanon and Dormont streets.

Tickets are $15 per person and are available online at ghmusical.com/hometour. Tickets also will be available the day of the tour at 26 Maple Ave.

All proceeds will benefit the 2016 statewide tour of “Golden Horseshoe,” a musical celebrating West Virginia’s history and heritage.
