Darnley – Sapic
Stephanie Sapic and Robert Darnley were united in marriage September 19, 2015, at Washington County Fairgrounds, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Kimberly and Kenneth Sapic of Washington. Her grandparents are Ronald Johns and Karen Johns, both of Greene County, Myrtle Sapic of Washington and the late Donald Sapic.
Parents of the bridegroom are Fred and Jody Darnley of Claysville. His grandparents are Bob and Peg Teagarden, Donna Mae Bryner, all of Washington, and the late James Bryner.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Cassie Richmond of Washington. Bridesmaids were Erica Sapic of Washington, sister of the bride; Sarah Sweeney of Jefferson, cousin of the bride; Maegan Keenan of Cecil; Alyssa Lohr of McDonald; and Jodie Lisauckis of Lake Lynn.
Flower girl was Sydney Sweeney, daughter of Sarah Sweeney.
Best man was Justin McKean of Washington, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Coty Sprowls of Claysville, Greg Hubley of Claysville, Montana Keenan of Cecil, Justin Plants of Washington and Josh Sweeney of Jefferson, cousin of the bride.
Ring bearer was Julius Klaus, nephew of Cassie Richmond.
Reader was Erica Sapic.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2014 summa cum laude graduate of Waynesburg University, where she earned a degree in early childhood and special education. She is a substitute teacher at McGuffey and Canon-McMillan school districts and is a group supervisor at Once Upon A Time Early Learning Center.
Mr. Darnley is a 2007 graduate of McGuffey High School. He is a machinist at Perryman Co.
A reception was held at Washington County Fairgrounds.
The couple honeymooned at Shiloh Resort and Campgrounds, Cook Forest State Park.
