Cassidy Rae Ardeno was named to the dean’s list at Robert Morris University, where she is majoring in nursing. She is a 2013 graduate of Washington High School and is employed by Presbyterian SeniorCare. Her parents are Randy Ardeno and Tracy Belfiore-Ardeno of Washington.
Karlie Comfort was named to the dean’s list for the sixth consecutive semester at Slippery Rock University, where she is majoring in middle level mathematics education with a minor in exceptionalities. She also earned her fifth consecutive 4.0 grade-point average. Comfort is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, Collegiate Middle Level Association and Secondary Education/Foundations Education Club. She is a 2011 graduate of Trinity High School and is employed as a sales associate at Ann Taylor and a TWIST softball umpire. Her parents are Tony and Kim Comfort of Washington.
Emily Drabeck was named to the dean’s list at Marietta College, where she is majoring in organizational communications and public relations. She is a member of the McDonough Leadership Program. Drabeck is a 2013 graduate of Trinity High School, and her parents are Fred and Mona Drabeck of Washington.
Mackenzie McElhaney was named to the dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average at Slippery Rock University, where she is majoring in exercise science and physical therapy, which is a six-year program. It was the fifth consecutive time she was named to the dean’s list. In April 2014, McElhaney received the College Presidents Award for placing in the top 20 academic students of the junior class. She has been accepted into the doctor of physical therapy program at Slippery Rock, which begins in the fall of 2015. McElhaney is a 2012 graduate of McGuffey High School, and her parents are Jim and Sally McElhaney of Washington.
Lauren Moore was named to the dean’s list for the third consecutive semester at West Virginia University, where she is majoring in petroleum engineering. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers and the school conduct board. Moore is a 2013 graduate of Washington High School, and her parents are James and Paula Moore of Washington.
