Washington Lions Club recently presented $1,000 scholarships to, from left, Adam M. Hasson, Marissa Durbin and Jenna Shallcross. Hasson, son of Brian and Diane Hasson, is a graduate of Trinity High School. He plans to major in engineering at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. Durbin, daughter of Rich and Bobbie Jo Durbin, is a graduate of McGuffey High School. She will attend the University of Pittsburgh to major in occupational therapy. Shallcross, daughter of Bryan and Amy Shallcross, is a graduate of Washington High School. She plans to major in mathematics and secondary education at Grove City College.
