Shelby Doman of Meadow Lands has received a Merit Scholarship from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. The scholarship is renewable for the next four years, provided that she meets the scholarship criteria. Doman plans to study biology. Doman is a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School, and her parents are Richard and Billie Jo Doman. A high honors student, Doman was a state finalist in Future Business Leaders of America and participated in marching band for five years. She also is active in Crossroads 4-H.
