Edward J. Blumer of Canonsburg and Janice Rossi Blumer of Washington announce the Christmas engagement of their daughter, Ashley Marie, to Brent Matthew Wetzel, son of Penny Glasscock Wetzel.

Ashley’s grandparents are the late Nicklous and Patricia Blumer and the late Pio and Helen Rossi.

Her fiance’s grandparents are Beverly Glasscock of Wheeling, W.Va., and the late William Glasscock.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Trinity High School. She is pursuing a degree in nursing.

The future groom is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and is employed by AT&T.

A September 2016 wedding is planned.
