Sikora–95 years
Ted Sikora of Washington will celebrate his 95th birthday at a family dinner given by his children.
He was born March 5, 1920, a son of the late Paul and Julia Sikora of Washington.
He married Mildred Crupe on January 25, 1947. They were married for 60 years before Mildred’s passing.
They have three children, Thomas Sikora (Marilyn) of Washington, Darlene Pajak (Fred) of Eighty Four and Crystal Shiller (Neal) of Grand Prairie, Texas.
He has 10 grandchildren, Paul Sikora (Michelle) of Washington, Amy Sikora of Washington, Maggie Frey (Ben) of Amsterdam, Netherlands, Dr. Kylie Murray (Kevin) of Mt. Joy, Jake Sikora of Pittsburgh, Chelsea Vaughn (Rudy) of Raleigh, N.C., Alia Vollstedt (Dan) of Eighty Four, Jim and Michael Sarasnick of Washington and Julia Pajak of Eighty Four.
He has eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sikora worked at McGraw Edison in Canonsburg until retiring in 1984. He goes to the Cameron Wellness Center every day, where his favorite activity is Zumba class. He also enjoys gardening and reading.
