Muraco–Fetcko
Shannon Fetcko and James (Jim) Muraco Jr. were united in marriage November 1, 2014, in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carnegie, with the Rev. Bruce P. Nordeen officiating the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Carl W. (Bill) and Linda Fetcko of Canonsburg. Her grandparents are Gladys Lustic of Harwick, the late Edward Lustic and the late Carl A. and Florence Fetcko.
Parents of the bridegroom are James (Jim) Sr. and Cheryl Muraco of Washington. His grandparents are Marilyn Finlay of Crafton, the late William Finlay, Carol Finlay of Crafton and the late Dominick and Veronica Muraco.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, after her brothers, Shawn Fetcko and Carl Fetcko Jr., walked her down the aisle.
Maid of honor was Kristen Cushman of Allison Park. Bridesmaids were Katie Fetcko Boris of Canonsburg and Alyssa Mahramus of Pittsburgh, cousins of the bride; Courtney Pabian Koenig of Allison Park; and Carey Ousley of Crafton, cousin of the groom.
Flower girls were Molly Kubit and Emily Fetcko, nieces of the bride.
Best man was Ryan Muraco of Washington, brother of the groom. Ushers were Benjamin Orrison of Carnegie, Michael Kaminski of Munhall, Wesley Martincic of Houston and Stephen Lamm of Carnegie.
Ring bearer was Matthew Fetcko, nephew of the bride.
Readers were Jodi Kubit, sister of the bride, and Allison Burr.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and a 2009 graduate of Allegheny College, Meadville.
Mr. Muraco is a 2006 graduate of Trinity High School, a 2010 graduate of Allegheny College, Meadville, and a 2012 graduate of Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas, where he earned a master’s degree.
A reception was held at SNPJ Sygan Hall, Bridgeville. As a surprise to the bride, a recording of her grandfather singing was played at the reception.
The couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and make their home in Heidelberg.
