The Washington Antiques Fair begins its 37th season March 29 and continues through October on the last Sunday of each month. The fair is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Consol Energy Park, Washington. Admission is $3 for adults and children 12 and younger are free. For more information, visit www.washingtonantiquesfair.com.

Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will host a search for the singing grounds of the American Woodcock in Mingo Creek County Park April 1. The group will meet at 7:30 p.m. at Shelter 6. Participants will listen for “peenting” male woodcock and watch the evening sky to observer one of the most unique courtships in the bird world- the flight of the timberdoodle. There is no fee. Dress for moderate hiking and weather. Binoculars are recommended, but not required. A flashlight may be useful for the return hike. Reservations are required; call 724-228-6867.
