Amanda Rae Kaste was named to the dean’s list at Gettysburg College, where she is majoring in religious studies and anthropology. Kaste is the religious and spiritual life office associate for Office of the Chaplain and Director of Catholic Campus Ministry at the college, and a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, the Lambda Alpha National Anthropology Honor Society and the Gettysburg College Honor Commission. She also has been a David Wills Scholar for five consecutive semesters. Kaste is a 2012 graduate of Avella Junior-Senior High School, and her parents are Lorraine and James Kaste of Burgettstown.
Kayleigh Verno graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Jefferson College with a degree in psychology. She was named to the dean’s list all four years and was a member of Psi Chi National Honor Society in psychology. Verno is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School and is employed by the Mental Health Association of Washington County, Strabane Trails Independent Living in Washington and St. Hilary Catholic Church, Washington, as a cantor. Her parents are Judy and Chuck Verno of Washington.
