Mancan Inc. Staffing Agency is holding a Coats for Kids campaign now until Dec. 18. The program, a collaboration between the United Way and Mancan Inc., seeks gently used coats that will be distributed to families in need. To supplement certain sizes, Mancan will purchase new coats, which will be funded through monetary donations. St. Francis of Assisi Knights of Columbus and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows will sponsor an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the IOOF Hall, 3684 Finley-Elrama Road, Finleyville. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children 6 and younger.
West Alexander Methodist Church, 162 Main St., will hold a chicken-and-biscuit dinner at 4 p.m. Saturday. A love offering will be accepted.
