Washington County 4-H award winners
Washington County 4-H County Council recently hosted the 4-H Royal Leaders Banquet to honor the 182 4-H leaders in Washington County. The council recognized 4-H leaders with one, three, five, 10, 15, 20 and 35 years of service.
The 2015 4-H county award winners, plus the club scrapbook winners, also were presented at the Leaders’ Appreciation Banquet. They were:
• Cole Barefoot of Pike Run 4-H Club, who received the Mary Baker Award.
• Sam Bashioum, Chrome Clovers 4-H Club, Alex Loos Scholarship.
• Katie Brennan, Vankirk Friendship 4-H Club, I Dare You Award.
• Tyler Cage, Crossroads and Silver Bits 4-H clubs, Robert and Connie Ceisler Award.
• Don Carter, Friend of 4-H Award.
• Aeriahna Gregg, 4 Leaf 4-H Club, I Dare You Award.
• Ashlin Hawkinberry, 4 Leaf 4-H Club, Outstanding Teen Leadership Award.
• Dylan Hill, Golden Bridges 4-H Club, Outstanding Teen Leadership Award.
• Kaylee Hobgood, Crossroads and Frazier Simplex 4-H clubs, Outstanding 4-H Girl.
• Allee Hoover, South Franklin Morris 4-H Club, third place Calendar Cover Award.
• Brittany Janusey, Ten Mile 4-H Club, Outstanding Officer Award.
• Aiden Lowden, Pike Run 4-H Club, I Dare You Award.
• Trevor Maxwell, South Franklin Morris Club, I Dare You Award.
• Julia Mislo, Pike Run 4-H Club, first place Calendar Cover Award.
• Roman Quinn, Cecil and Raging Roosters 4-H clubs, Robert and Connie Ceisler Award.
• Erin Rice, Clover Patch 4-H Club, Thomas and Christine Russell Scholarship.
• Robert Schinkovec, Ten Mile 4-H Club, Outstanding 4-H Leader Award.
• Ethan Schriver, Buffalo Ag 4-H Club, Rookie Leader Award.
• Ed Schultz Insurance Agency, Friend of 4-H Business Award; Kit Carson accepted on behalf of the agency.
• Samantha Stritzinger, Golden Bridges 4-H Club, I Dare You Award and second place Calendar Cover Award.
• TJ Vercek, Cecil and Frazier Simplex 4-H clubs, Outstanding 4-H Boy.
• Buffalo Ag 4-H Club, the 4-H Livestock Scrapbook Award; Cindy Subrick accepted on behalf of the club.
• Cecil 4-H Club, the 4-H Events Scrapbook Award; Janet McCuean accepted on behalf of the club.
• Crossroads 4-H Club, the Community Service Award; Becky Washabaugh accepted on behalf of the club.
• Heart & Home 4-H Club, the Community Service Award; Gayle Stahlman accepted on behalf of the club.
• Pike Run 4-H Club, the 4-H Community Service Scrapbook Award; David Lowden accepted on behalf of the club.
