Ron and Linda Johnson of Bentleyville announce the engagement of their daughter, Karla, to John Kalichuk, son of John and Michele Kalichuk of Plum.

Karla’s grandparents are Warren and Pat Houseman of Charleroi and Jennie Johnson of Bentleyville and the late Samuel Johnson. Her fiance’s grandparents are Robert and Margaret Kalichuk of Plum and Edith Gill of Plum and the late Robert Gill.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Bentworth High School, a 2006 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College and a 2009 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She is an attorney at Reed Smith LLP in Pittsburgh.

The future groom is a 2004 graduate of Plum Senior High School and a 2009 graduate of Robert Morris University. He is managing senior director of new products at Davison Design and Development in O’Hara Township.

A June 25, 2016, wedding is planned at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
