Mary and Martha Joy Fellowship of Monongahela invites people of all denominations to its monthly meeting of praise and worship Thursday at First Presbyterian Church of Monongahela, corner of Sixth, Main and Chess streets. Fellowship and refreshments begin at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting follows at 7. There is no charge. A freewill offering will be accepted. Enter the church from Chess St. and go up the stairs to the parlor on the main floor. Guest speaker will be Ray Domachowski, pastoral associate at Life Church of Washington. First Christian Church, 615 E. Beau St., Washington, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Dinner includes spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, salad, Italian bread, drink and a homemade dessert. Cost is $10 for adults. Children ages 5 thru 12 are $4 and children under 4 are free. Takeout orders will be available.
Fourth Presbyterian Family Center, 1000 Jefferson Ave., Washington, will hold a fall fantasy craft show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be handmade crafts, a bake sale, Chinese auction and lunch. Tables are still available. For more information on tables, call 724-225-7243.
John Wesley United Methodist Church, 35 Central Ave., Washington, will hold a Children’s Fall Festival for children ages 12 and younger from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be provided.
South Park Women’s Club will sponsor its 22nd craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Home Economics Building at South Park fairgrounds. The show will feature more than 50 crafters offering a variety of homemade crafts. There will be a bake sale, refreshments, raffles and a Chinese auction. The Education Department at Waynesburg University is taking a Mission Trip to teach at a low-income public school in Nassau, Bahamas. Stop by Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt, 2000 Park Place Drive, Suite 107, Washington, from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to help the mission trip. When making a purchase, tell the cashier you want your order to go toward the Waynesburg University Education Department Mission Trip.
