Christian Mothers and Guild of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, 300 Pike St., Meadow Lands, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the church hall. A candlelight rosary will be prayed for all living members. Members are asked to bring their Bibles. There will be a Scripture reading and a discussion.

Canonsburg Crime Watch will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Anglican Parish of Christ the Redeemer, 120 E. College St., Canonsburg.

Rummage/bake sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 9 and 10 at Fawcett United Methodist Church, 346 Fawcett Church Road, Bridgeville. Half-price sale will be held Saturday. There will be barbecue sandwiches, cream-puff cakes and a variety of baked goods, plus Christian greeting cards and 2016 Enjoyment books. Orders also will be taken for pies, which will be delivered before Thanksgiving, and Sarris Christmas candy. Pies are $10.

Jr. “O” Club of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 601 Boone Ave., Canonsburg, will hold an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 10. Breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries and a beverage. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for 6- through 12-year-olds. Children 5 and younger are free. Proceeds will benefit parish youth outreach programs sponsored by the club.

Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a needle and yarn craft workshop at 10 a.m. Oct. 14 at Mingo Creek County Park office. The craft will be corn-filled heating pads. Bring at least one yard of fabric or a crew-cut sock. Participants also are asked to bring scissors. A sewing machine and the corn will be provided. The workshop will include the annual cookie recipe exchange. Bring two-and-a-half dozen homemade cookies and the recipe. Refreshments and a small snack will be provided. Fee is $3. Registration is required and can be made by calling the parks office at 724-228-6867.
