Tri-County Patriots for Independent Living will hold an Assistive Equipment Swap Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the parking at its offices at 69 E. Beau St., Washington.

Participants should bring items in good condition that are no longer used, and take equipment they need. Exchanges can include transfer boards, ramps, adult briefs, walkers, canes and other nonprescription assistive equipment.

Items from TRIPIL’s EquipAbility Program also will be available.

Cost to participate is $10, which will help TRIPIL make equipment ready to donate to others in the community. The fee may be waived on a case-by-case basis, depending on a participant’s ability to pay.
