The Disciples Women’s Ministries Fall Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, 615 E. Beau St., Washington. There will be handmade and homemade items, outside vendors and a Chinese auction. Lunch will be available.
In conjunction with the 100-year celebration of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers will hold a ham and pierogie dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at McCashion Hall, 1109 Main Street, Burgettstown. Tickets are $10.50 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger. Dinner includes ham, potato and cheese or sauerkraut pierogies, green beans almandine, salad, roll and dessert. The Washington area branch of NAACP is conducting its annual membership campaign now through Dec. 31. Chartered in October 1917, the branch’s goal is to increase membership so it can continue to ensure political, educational, social, economic and criminal justice equality for all citizens.
