Halloween Night Walk along a luminary-lit Panhandle Trail will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the McDonald Trail Station, 160 S. McDonald St. Tricks and treats will be provided for children 11 and younger as they walk a portion of the trail. Children are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes. There is no fee, and registration is required by calling the Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation at 724-228-6867.

Tanger Outlets is selling special pink “wish” lanterns for breast cancer awareness. Lanterns are $5 and can be purchased at Shopper Services in the food court through Oct. 31. Proceeds benefit Hair Peace Charities. Lanterns can be lit at home, or shoppers can join Tanger Outlets at 7 p.m. Saturday for its Illuminating Hope Lantern Light-Up Night, weather permitting.
