Moore – Rodsky
Amanda Rodsky and Andrew Moore were united in marriage July 25, 2015, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Washington, with the Rev. William Feeney officiating the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Timothy and Catherine Rodsky of Washington. Her grandparents are the late Andy and Rose Rodsky and the late Robert and Louise Urso.
Parents of the bridegroom are Scott and Marian Moore of Beaver Falls. His grandparents are the late Richard and Margaret Moore and the late Mike and Lucy Trkula.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Melissa Moore-Elsman of Coraopolis, sister of the groom. Bridesmaid was Carole Hood-Rodsky of Bergholz, Ohio, sister-in-law of the bride.
Best man was Ted Zeljak of State College.
Ushers were Adam Rodsky of Bergholz, brother of the bride; John Elsman of Coraopolis, brother-in-law of the groom; and Mark Trkula of Fairfax, Va., cousin of the groom.
Readers were John Elsman and Robert Urso.
Vocalists were Matthew Trkula, cousin of the groom, who played classical guitar, Kathy Sacco on the organ and Valerie Quayle as cantor.
The bride is a graduate of McGuffey High School, West Liberty State College and Robert Morris University. She is a high school math teacher at Jefferson-Morgan Junior/Senior High School.
Mr. Moore is a graduate of Blackhawk High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a human resources information systems analyst at General Nutrition Corp. in Pittsburgh.
A reception was held at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh, Meadow Lands.
The couple honeymooned in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
